
In today’s post to The Corner, I defend podcast-host–read ads from Jemima Kelly, writing for the Financial Times. In her FT op-ed, Kelly cites Lex Fridman as an exploitative podcaster. Fridman; not Friedman. Mistakenly, I wrote the latter.
Several hours after the post was published, I received a short email from one Lex Friedman. Very short. In fact, half of the body was this link: https://lexfriedman.com/friedman
If you follow the link — which you must — you will be brought to Lex Friedman’s webpage explaining that he is not Lex Fridman but, in point of fact, a distinct person. According to Friedman, he is “the real one.” With regard to Lex Fridman, that is indisputable. With respect to the other Lex Friedmans out there, the claim becomes more dubious.
