This week I have the great fortune of attending Students For Liberty’s Prometheus Fellowship Summit in Vienna, Austria. I have never before been to central Europe, to my limited American knowledge of what “central Europe” geographically comprises, so I was ecstatic to see a new, beautiful, storied place. Even better: my fellow fellows (lazy, I know) are thoughtful, gregarious, fun-loving young adults passionate about promoting liberty.
Did I die and go to heaven? Quite possibly.
Effusive (but genuine) gratitude now expressed, I can remark on an absurdity I encountered while traveling to Vienna: Austrian Airlines—whose Condor A330 was expertly piloted and attended—was hawking cartons of duty-free cigarettes en route to Frankfurt, Germany. (I had a connecting flight.)

auf wiedersehen and gute nacht.
