Happy Warriors United
I trade Hanover's arctic tundra for Amelia Island's mid-50s at The Fund for American Studies' Annual Reunion.
At the time of writing I have gotten a grand total of two hours of sleep in the past 36 hours or thereabouts. I went to sleep at 2AM and got up at 4AM to make the Dartmouth Coach to Boston Logan, boarded my flight at 10:15AM, and have been socializing since 2:00PM. While my peers freeze in significantly sub-zero (Fahreneheit!) temperatures, I have the privilege of being flown down to Florida to participate in three days of economic lectures and networking with fellow freedom-minded individuals.
A real Shakespearean tragedy.
All jokes aside, my first day attending the TFAS Annual Reunion couldn’t have been better. I got to reconnect with fellow members of my own Liberty and Learning cohort as well as with other recent TFAS alumni with whom I was not familiar. I also had the great honor of listening to an edifying lecture delivered by Dr. Anne Bradley on “Inequality, Justice and Economic Freedom.” The reception was warm, the dinner phenomenal, and the speeches uplifting. I am now about to collapse so I must go directly to bed.
More to come!
